She Left a Mark That Won't Fade Away

She entered my life so softly,  
Bringing warmth that chased away my fears.  
A friend, a mentor, a guiding star,  
Who turned my darkest moments into bright ones.  

She cheered me on when I felt insignificant,  
Believed in me through every setback.  
Her words gave me wings when I couldn't soar,  
And her smile was the reason I kept trying.  

But time rolled on, as it always does,  
And soon, I had to say goodbye.  
It wasn’t her choice to part ways.
It was me who left, with a heavy heart.  

Yet even distance can't dull her kindness,  
Her lessons stay with me everywhere.  
Though I've moved forward, she’s still close by,
She left a mark that will never fade away.
